As you may know, a solar eclipse was visible from Earth today. For those who got to see it, It was an amazing phenomenon of nature that rarely happens, but what’s actually behind a solar eclipse? For the scientist in the room, the answer is the Sun. Ah, thank you. But for everyone else, Vox has put together a great video describing the science behind a solar eclipse.
Munich based design studio, Kurzgesagt, designs some of my favorite infographic videos. German for “in a nutshell,” Kurzgesagt was founded in 2013 by Philipp Dettmer & Stephan Rether. Through the combination of eye popping colors, minimalist animation and a plethora of consumable facts, they create videos that are entertaining and informative.
