Tripping Astronauts
No, not that type of tripping…silly footage of NASA astronauts falling over on the moon. What more do you need right now?

Benjamin VanderVeen has edited together footage from NASA’s Apollo 16 mission to the Moon with a sample of Dr. Dre’s hip hop anthem ‘Still D.R.E.’ The goal is to remind everyone that science is cool and outer space is some real gangster shit. Thanks Ben, for doing your part in making space cool again.
Using images captured by NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center, Michael Konig edited together time lapse sequences of the sun’s atmosphere. The sequences were observed by the Solar Dynamics Observatory spacecraft between 2011 and 2015. The amazing footage is incredibly powerful to say the least and the video itself has been making the rounds in the blogosphere. Now, its rays have reached The Ironicle.
